Mandala Sisters Have Their Favorite Number.
Mother Nature Has Hers!
Mandala Sisters admit our favorite number to use when creating mandala is 8!
Mother Nature may prefer 6 in her creations. The hexagon is seen in the cell of a beehive.
It takes 6 spokes to make a snowflake!
The pattern of a tortoise shell is composed of hexagons. (is it wrong to admit here that we just don’t feel like looking at a tortoise?)
Quartz crystals: six-sided formations before we knew “6″ was six!
Okay Mandala Sisters what does this have to do with painting a mandala? Six has represented “family” for ages. What better way to give a loving tribute to your child when they are born than with painting a mandala to represent the energy of the child coming in to the family.
Conversely, what about painting a Mandala for the elder in your family as a new version of the family tree.
